Teriyaki tofu skewers

A tofu skewer that can make delicious tacos in minutes? Yes please! Serve these on your favorite rice or in tacos just like the recipe below!

Ingredients

For the tofu skewers

  • 10 tortillas
  • 1 bloc (350g) of extra firm or firm tofu, cubed 
  • ¼ - ½ cup of teriyaki sauce
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 1 small white onion

For the togarashi coleslaw

How to make Teriyaki tofu skewers

1. Assemble the skewers with the cubed tofu and veggies.

2. Brush the teriyaki sauce on the skewers and set aside to marinate while preparing the coleslaw.*

3. Mix all the ingredients for the coleslaw. Set aside.

4. Grill the tofu skewers on the BBQ or in a skillet.

5. Place the skewers, tortillas, coleslaw and toppings of choice on a tray on the table so everyone can make their own tacos. Share and enjoy!

Note: Marinate tofu in teriyaki sauce overnight for maximum flavor!
