A fresh herb packed sauce served on cauliflower steaks— the perfect vegetarian dish for your next bbq with friends!

Ingredients

Cauliflower steaks served with almond chimichurri sauce

  • 1 head of cauliflower, leaves removed, cut into four pieces
  • Basil infused olive oil
  • Herbamare® Original to taste

Chimichurri sauce

  • 1 cup italian parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ⅓ cup fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup raw almonds
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • Herbamare to taste
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp chili flakes

How to make Cauliflower steaks served with almond chimichurri sauce

1. Drizzle the olive oil and add the salt over the steaks. 

2. On a hot grill, cook the cauliflower on each side for 5 minutes.

3. Chimichurri sauce: Add everything to an electric mixer. Mix until well chopped. Serve over the grilled cauliflower with sprouts.
