I have not had a period in over a year (I'm 53) but I got it today. Is this normal?
It does happen (rare) that menses come back after a year without them. If they are light and do not come back on a regular basis there is usually nothing to be worried about but if the menses are heavy or come back for more than once, it would be best to talk to your doctor for a check-up.
